This Cookie Policy explains how Deadline Shield LLC uses cookies and similar browser technologies on deadlineshield.live and in the Deadline Shield application. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. Essential account and security cookies

Deadline Shield uses a secure session cookie after sign-in so the Service can recognize an authenticated account. The current session cookie is named ds_session. It is configured as Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and is limited to Deadline Shield. A normal signed-in session may remain valid for up to about 30 days unless you sign out, change security settings, delete the account, or the session is otherwise revoked.

This cookie is necessary for account access, workspace isolation, and security. Disabling required cookies may prevent sign-in or other authenticated features from working.

2. Local storage and similar technologies

Deadline Shield may use browser storage, service-worker storage, or similar technologies to support application settings, installable-app features, update handling, security, and normal product functionality. These technologies may remain on a device until they expire, are replaced, or are cleared through the browser or device.

3. Performance measurement

Deadline Shield uses Cloudflare infrastructure and may use Cloudflare performance or analytics tools to understand site reliability, traffic, and page performance. These services may receive technical request information such as browser, device, network, and page-performance data. Deadline Shield does not use this information for third-party behavioral advertising.

4. Advertising and sale of personal information

Deadline Shield does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies, sell personal information, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

5. Your browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site data. You can also clear local storage and other stored website data. Blocking essential storage may make parts of Deadline Shield unavailable or cause you to be signed out.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our product, providers, or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current version.
