Sell the problem first. Show the software second.
The Operations pitch is not “buy another task manager.” It is: important dates already exist in your paperwork—who owns making sure they do not get missed?
30-second pitch
Discovery questions
- What kinds of renewals, expirations, notice windows, or compliance dates does your team track today?
- Where are those dates kept—spreadsheets, calendars, inboxes, or individual employees?
- How does management know who owns a date and whether that person has acknowledged it?
- Have you ever found a renewal or cancellation window after it was already too late?
- If one employee left tomorrow, how much deadline knowledge would leave with them?
Five-minute demo
- Open the read-only demo and show the Command Center counters.
- Click Dates and point out the source document, due date, owner, and workflow status.
- Click Team and show names/titles plus open and completed responsibilities.
- Explain that real users start from the source paperwork and approve findings before anything is protected.
- Close with the management outcome: fewer invisible responsibilities and less dependence on memory.
Objections
“We already use a calendar/task app.”
“Keep it. Deadline Shield is focused on the document-driven dates that are easy to miss before they ever make it into that calendar—and on keeping the source, owner, and management status connected.”
“AI can make mistakes.”
“Correct. That is why Deadline Shield does not silently turn AI output into protected dates. It surfaces the finding and source evidence for human review first.”
“We do not have time to enter everything.”
“Start with the documents that can cost you the most if missed. The free Deadline Audit is a low-friction way to see whether the system finds useful dates before committing.”
“$299 is expensive.”
“The question is what one missed renewal window, expired license, uncovered vendor, or missed option can cost the organization—and how much management time is spent chasing responsibility today.”
